Vina Diezmo Joven Tinto 2016

This 2016 Viña Diezmo Crianza is a full-bodied red wine from the Ribera del Duero region of Spain. It is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, which are hand-harvested and aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels. The wine has a deep ruby color and aromas of ripe red fruit, spices, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is smooth and balanced, with flavors of blackberry, cherry, and a hint of tobacco. The tannins are well-integrated and the finish is long and lingering. This is an excellent wine to pair with grilled meats, stews, and aged cheeses.
